Parts of central and south Mumbai to face low water supply on March 14, 15

The BMC have urged citizens to store adequate water and utilise them with utmost concern during the said days

Mumbai: Several areas that fall under the jurisdiction of G/South (Worli, Prabhadevi, Lower Parel) and G/North (Mahim,Dadar and Dharavi) municipal wards will face low water supply on March 14 and 15 as the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) will take up repairing works of the leaks in the Tansa east-west main aqueduct at Senapati Bapat Marg, Lower Parel.

The BMC will initiate the repair works from 8am on March 14 and the works will continue till 2pm on March 15. (Agencies)

During the operation, the local ward office may impose water cuts in several areas in their jurisdiction therefore water pressure will be severely low. The BMC have urged citizens to store adequate water and utilise them with utmost concern during the said days.
