27 students migrate to Meritorious School in Ludhiana
On the last day of the migration process on Wednesday, among Class 11 seats in Meritorious School in Ludhiana, 297 were filled by female students and 193 by boys.
As many as 27 students have enrolled in Meritorious School in Ludhiana through an inter-meritorious migration process which started on November 17, while 14 students have migrated to other schools.

On the last day of the migration process on Wednesday, among Class 11 seats, 297 were filled by girls and 193 by boys. Out of a total of 300 seats for girls, two seats in non-medical and one seat in commerce are vacant, and out of 200 seats for boys, seven seats in medical are still vacant.
Counselling for the ten meritorious schools in Amritsar, Bathinda, Ferozepur, Gurdaspur, Jalandhar, Ludhiana, SAS Nagar, Patiala, Sangrur and Talwara was held in August at 22 centres across Punjab after the entrance exam.
In Ludhiana, there are 120 seats for boys in the non-medical stream, while 180 seats are reserved for girls. In both the medical and commerce streams, 40 and 60 seats are reserved for boys and girls, respectively.
Principal of the Meritorious School Vishwakirat Kahlon said, “Around 99 per cent of the seats had been filled through counselling. As several students withdrew their admissions some seats were vacant, students who want to take admission in their preferred school can apply through inter-meritorious migration and migrate to other schools which have seats.”
