The civil surgeon said, “It is a minimally invasive option and no stitches are used during this operation. The man does not suffer any pain and after the operation, they can perform their daily tasks same as before. Therefore, more and more people are being made aware and persuaded to undergo surgery to control the growing population.”
She added, “There is a need to remove misconceptions about male sterilisation, so that men should step forward and take responsibility to realise the concept of a small family, a happy family.”
She also informed that financial assistance of ₹1,100 is provided to the person who undergoes a sterilisation operation and ₹200 to the person who induces for operation.
