DM chairs meet to discuss arrangements for women Agniveer recruitment rally in Lucknow

On Wednesday, a meeting was chaired by district magistrate Suryapal Gangwar to discuss arrangements for the recruitment rally.

Lucknow: Ahead of the women Agniveer recruitment rally, scheduled from November 30 to December 10 at AMC Centre & College in Lucknow’s Cantt area, the district administration and the Lucknow Municipal Corporation (LMC) are making all preparations to ensure effective crowd management and facilities for aspirants.

On Wednesday, a meeting was chaired by district magistrate Suryapal Gangwar to discuss arrangements for the recruitment rally. Prior to the meeting, the DM inspected the AMC Centre & College. He directed the police to ensure security, potable water tankers, mobile toilets, barricading, firefighting system, electricity supply, medical system, women teachers for exam dates, and facility of broadband BSNL connection at the recruitment rally ground. The DM also directed for arranging ambulance and fire service at the venue. Besides, Lucknow Electricity Supply Administration (LESA) officials were directed to ensure uninterrupted power supply at the venue.

In addition, the DM also ordered concerned officials to ensure proper cleanliness, sprinkling of lime, and road lighting on the routes that would witness the movement of the aspirants. He asked the LMC to arrange 25 mobile toilets along with water tankers at the examination centre. Further, three tents along with a 50 KVA generator should be arranged for aspirants, added DM Gangwar.

Meanwhile, the health department was instructed to arrange three ambulance vehicles and a team of women doctors at the examination centre with life-saving medicines.
