Blood found in Atiq’s office was of drug addict who tried to break in: Police

According to Anurag Sharma, the SHO of Khuldabad police station, Shahrukh’s aide Azam kept a watch outside the office while he cut the railing of the office on Monday night.

PRAYAGRAJ Two days after blood spots and a knife were found at Atiq Ahmed’s office in Chakia, police have said that a drug addict tried to break into the premises and in the process, sustained a glass injury on his palms. The injured drug addict, identified as Shahrukh of Chak Niratul area, has been arrested.

According to Anurag Sharma, the SHO of Khuldabad police station, Shahrukh’s aide Azam kept a watch outside the office while he cut the railing of the office on Monday night. Shahrukh sustained an injury in the hand when the window pane glass broke as he was cutting the railings. Subsequently, Shahrukh used some clothes lying in the office to wipe his blood. He then fled the spot.
