Motorcycle torched as villagers ‘misbehave’ with kanwarias in Etah

AGRA A motorcycle was burnt while the flow of traffic on the Agra road was disrupted on Sunday after a few young villagers from Etah’s Amar Gujia village allegedly misbehaved with the kanwarias passing by. Irked with their ‘misdemeanour’, one of the kanwarias torched a motorcycle. This led to a traffic jam on the road.

“The incident unfolded when three village youths clashed with kanwarias, leading to a kanwaria retaliating by setting a motorcycle on fire,” stated Dhananjay Singh Kushwaha, additional superintendent of police in Etah. He added, “The situation has stabilised, yet the police maintain vigilance as a precautionary step. Legal action will be taken against those responsible for the misbehaviour.”
