The Shivajinagar have booked a housekeeping staff attached to a private hospital for outraging the modesty of a forty-two-year-old woman who had come to the hospital for her son’s surgery.
The accused gained entry into her room on the pretext of changing the bedsheet and instead peeped at her while she was taking bath by climbing onto the top of a connected bathroom. The incident took place in their special room on Saturday morning when she had gone for a bath.
The accused gained entry into her room on the pretext of changing the bedsheet and instead peeped at her while she was taking bath by climbing onto the top of a connected bathroom. The woman spotted him and she came out to question him but there too the accused chased her with the intention of molestation.
The police have identified the Khadki-based accused but refrained from naming him as he was yet to be arrested.
The 42-year-old woman, a resident of Baner, lodged a complaint in this regard.
Senior police inspector Arvind Mane of Shivajinagar police, said, “The victim is a medical practitioner and her son had sustained a hand fracture and has been admitted to the hospital where he was scheduled to be operated on,” he said.
“The police team went to the spot to arrest the accused but he had fled,” Mane added.
