Pune district reports 152 new Covid cases, 1 death
The progressive count stands at 1.45 million out of which 1.42 million have recovered, 20,507 deaths reported and 1,318 are current active cases.
PUNE As per the state health department, Pune district reported 152 new Covid-19 cases and one death due to the infection on Sunday. This took the progressive count to 1.45 million out of which 1.42 million have recovered, 20,507 deaths reported and 1,318 are current active cases.
Pune rural reported 48 new Covid-19 cases, which took the progressive count to 424,902, and the death toll stood at 7,142.
Pune city reported 83 new Covid-19 cases, which took the progressive count to 679,065, and the death toll stood at 9427.
Pimpri-Chinchwad reported 21 new Covid-19 cases, and the progressive count went up to 346,967, and the toll stood at 3,588 as one more death was reported.
Pune district, as per the Cowin dashboard, as of Sunday, in total 17.35 million doses have been registered. Out of which, 9.51 million are first doses, 7.59 million are second doses and 2,38,542 were precautionary doses. A total of 97 sites saw vaccination, out of which 31 were government centres, and others were private.
