A 35-year-old woman and her two children were found dead in Tathawade, prompting a police investigation into the circumstances surrounding their deaths. Police identified the deceased as Kalpana Vipin Suryawanshi, her 15-year-old daughter and 10-year-old son.

Senior police inspector (SPI) Ashok Kadlag said the three were found unconscious and rushed to a nearby hospital, where doctors declared them dead on arrival. He said preliminary suspicion points to suicide, and chemical samples have been sent for forensic analysis.

“Our forensic team has collected samples and other materials from the spot and sent them for chemical analysis. Further investigation will proceed based on the findings of the forensic report,” Kadlag said.

Police said they are awaiting forensic results to determine the exact cause of death and have not ruled out any possibility.
