BCCI announced that Bhuvneshwar Kumar has been added to the India ‘A’ squad that is playing a quadrangular series against India ‘B’, South Africa ‘A’ and Australia ‘A’.
Having aggravated his back injury, India pacer Bhuvneshwar Kumar had to fly back to India after the ODI series against England. But there is good news as far as the Indian team management is concerned because the fast bowler is looking to make a return to the ground after undergoing rehabilitation.

Taking to Twitter, BCCI announced that Bhuvneshwar has been added to the India ‘A’ squad that is playing a quadrangular series against India ‘B’, South Africa ‘A’ and Australia ‘A’.
“Bhuvneshwar Kumar has been declared fit & will be a part of the India A squad in the ongoing Quadrangular series. He will feature in the side’s next fixture against South Africa A,” the tweet read.
The UP pacer had been suffering from a stiff back since the start of the IPL and also didn’t play all the matches during the limited-overs tour of the UK leg.
Bhuvneshwar had passed the Yo Yo test which is now a primary fitness criteria to get into the team. In 21 Tests, the 28 year old has taken 63 wickets and scored 552 runs.
The 28-year-old last played for India in the third ODI against England and had aggravated his lower-back injury. Bhuvneshwar was initially ruled out of the first three Tests, but the pacer needed an additional two weeks to recover fully and was therefore ruled out of the five-match series against England.
