Joseph uses his height to good effect as he leaps and plucks the ball out of thin air with his right hand. He feels that he is about to touch the boundary cushions and hence he gets rid of the ball, saving five runs for his side. Joseph actually had a yard or two to work with, and he could have held onto the ball or just lobbed it up, but it is easier said than done, as it is about making a split-second decision.
