This is Rahane’s just second IPL ton as his first century came against Royal Challengers Bangalore in the 2012 edition of the cash-rich league.

Rahane now joins teammate Sanju Samson, KXIP opener KL Rahul and RCB skipper Virat Kohli as the only three Indians to have hit an IPL ton this season. Sunrisers Hyderabad duo David Warner and Jonny Bairstow are the other cricketers to cross the 100-run mark this season.

Rahane’s 105* is the third highest score against DC in the IPL. Chris Gayle (RCB, 2012) tops the list with 128* off 62 deliveries while Murali Vijay takes the second spot with 113 off 58 balls (CSK, 2012)
