Representing Kings XI Punjab in the IPL, David, who is still waiting for a Test call-up, feels "Test cricket is the ultimate dream for me. Although I enjoy playing one-dayers and T20 matches but Tests are the real thing".
Branded as a player who can play the shorter version only, Hussey is desperate to shrug it off. The 33-year-old said, "If asked to choose between Tests and the shortest version, I will opt for the former."
With age not exactly on his side, he takes inspiration from elder brother Mike Hussey. "Mike is a big inspiration, he is the backbone of the Australian side and he too scored tons of runs to impress the selectors forcing them to pick him...”
