ICC World Cup 2019: Kedar Jadhav recovers from shoulder injury, set to leave for England - Report
Kedar Jadhav trained under team India physio Patrick Farhart and was declared fit by him in a report to the BCCI.
Kedar Jadhav, who sustained a shoulder injury in Chennai Super Kings’ last league match in IPL 2019, has recovered on time for the World Cup, according to Times of India. Jadhav is set to leave for England with the rest of the Indian team on May 22.

The middle-order batsman trained under team India physio Patrick Farhart and was declared fit by him in a report to the BCCI. Jadhav got through a fitness test at the MCA’s BKC facility in Mumbai on Thursday.
The Pune batsman has scored 1174 runs at an average of 43.48 in 59 ODIs. He has taken 27 wickets at an average of 34.70. Jadhav is a vital cog in the Indian batting line-up and can also ship in with a few overs for his captain.
Earlier, India leg-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal said that he is “excited” to play in his first ICC World Cup, starting May 30 in the England and Wales.
“Really excited, it will be my first World Cup. Everyone wants to be part of the World Cup to play for the country,” the 28-year-old told ANI.
On being asked what he thinks about the wicket, Chahal said, “Last year when we played in England, the wicket was slow so we have prepared accordingly but can only decide once we reach there.”
The middle-order, except MS Dhoni, has worried the nation for quite some time now. Reflecting on the same, the leg-spinner said, “One should support and back all the 15 players. Consider the team is strong.”
India will take on New Zealand and Bangladesh on May 25 and 28 in the warm-up matches before opening its World Cup campaign against South Africa on June 5 at the Hampshire Bowl, Southampton.
