England win toss and opt to bowl against India!

After India's win, former England captain Eoin Morgan hailed Rohit Sharma for his win. Speaking to Sky Sports, he said, "The most impressive thing about India for me today is what they lacked in the group stages of the T20 World Cup, they brought".

"Every single one of their batsmen came hard at England's bowlers and that hasn't happened in previous teams, previous squads that India have produced," he added.

After the first T20I win, Rohit became the first captain to record 13 successive wins in T20Is as a skipper. He also became the fastest Indian player to reach 1000 T20I runs as captain. He needed 13 runs to achieve the milestone and played a knock of 24 runs off 14 balls, reaching it in his 29th T20I innings as captain. Kohli had done it in 30 innings.

Moeen was England's best performer in the first T20I. The all-rounder took two wickets and also played a knock of 36 runs off 20 balls but couldn't prevent a defeat. He will be crucial for England in the second T20I.

Pandya is currently in top form and was brilliant in the first T20I. The all-rounder smacked 51 runs off 33 balls as India posted a 199-run target. His four-wicket haul bowled out England for 148 in 19.3 overs.

All eyes will be on Kohli, as he was rested for the first T20I. In his absense, Hooda batted at no. 3 and played a quickfire knock of 33 runs off 17 balls. Speaking ahead of the game, former India opener Jaffer stated Kohli 'will definitely be back' but will need to match Hooda's performance.

"Virat Kohli will definitely be back in the playing XI. There is no doubt about it although Deepak Hooda put in a good performance in the first T20I. But Kohli will need to play. A great player like him will need to come. But he will need to match Deepak Hooda's work including strike-rate", he said.

"India will need to continue with their aggressive approach", he further added.
