Afghanistan beat Bangladesh by 1 run in a close encounter in Dehradun to clinch the three match T20 series 3-0. Chasing 146, Bangladesh got off to a disastrous start but a 84 run fifth wicket partnership between Mushfiqur Rahim and Mahmudullah built hopes of a win. Rashid Khan was once again the star keeping his head in death overs to take his team across the line. Earlier Afghanistan posted a competitive 145/6 in their allotted 20 overs thanks to valuable contributions by Samiullah Shenwari, Mohammad Shahzad and captain Asghar Stanikzai.
