Match called off after continous rain

After disrupting and truncating proceedings earlier in the competition, rain claimed its first victim in IPL II on Tuesday when the game between the Mumbai Indians and the Rajasthan Royals was called off without a ball being bowled.

The teams got a point each. It had started raining earlier on Tuesday, cutting short the first match of the day. The pitch wasn’t affected but the outfield was.
