The executive committee of the RCA has also been dissolved and all its appointments and recommendations put on hold till the ad-hoc committee meets again for a review next Sunday.

The ad hoc committee has been formed for three months after which fresh elections will be held. Parthasarthi Sharma was named the new coach of the Ranji Trophy side, a position he shares, at least for the moment, with Manoj Prabhakar.

The ad-hoc committee selected new U-19 and U-22 state teams as well as setting up new selection committees in both the senior and junior levels.

The infighting within the RCA had resulted in the BCCI debarring Rajasthan from domestic tournaments after two different teams turned up for both a women’s U-19 and the domestic T20 competition.
