Rohit Sharma's manic outburst on Kuldeep Yadav over DRS woes during IND vs AUS 3rd ODI triggers meme fest
Rohit Sharma's back-to-back reactions over Kuldeep Yadav's DRS woes gave birth to a plethora of rib-tickling memes, that are sure to put a smile on your face.
India captain Rohit Sharma was at his animated best… like always during the course of the series decider against Australia on Wednesday. Rohit was seen expressing delight, anger and frustration during the first innings when India bowled against Australia after Steve Smith won the toss in Chennai. Rohit was a busy man as he had to cope with the disappointment of Shubman Gill's drop catch early on during the innings, but his disarray soon turned into joy with India staging a phenomenal comeback as Hardik Pandya and Kuldeep Yadav chipped away to eventually bowl out the Aussies for 269. It was a target India fell short of by 21 runs but that didn't stop from putting a leash over his reactions and expressions which was at its peak during the entire day.

Some of Rohit's golden expressions were captured on camera when Kuldeep was bowling. The left-arm wrist-spinner's judgment call left Rohit miffed on two occasions – once when Kuldeep didn't take the review and the other when he did. Rohit could not believe when Kuldeep opted against a review after rapping Alex Carey on the pads. Carey was foxed by a googly first ball and Rohit and Virat Kohli at slips, along with substitute wicketkeeper Ishan Kishan went up in a huge appeal immediately. However, the umpire did not seem convinced, and neither was Kuldeep. Kuldeep's lack of assistance left Rohit shocked. Rohit was left with no option but to stick with the umpire's decision but as soon as the three reds appeared on the big screen, Rohit was left furious.
"It's a good shout No wonder, no wonder Rohit has seen it on the replay. And he’s looked at Kuldeep in no uncertain terms. He's chirping away," said Ravi Shastri on air.
A few overs later, the exact opposite happened. This time, Kuldeep opted for a review against Carey, and although the impact looked to be outside off stump, the spinner convinced Rohit to take DRS. Rohit signalled the 'T' with a smile on his face, but just seconds later, even before the call was referred to the third umpire, the skipper was seen fuming at Kuldeep over the decision. Expectedly, the impact was outside off and India lost a DRS, after which the camera panned towards Rohit again. Seething with anger, Rohit muttered a few words to Kuldeep, who was walking back to take his position on the field.

Despite his captain venting out on him, Kuldeep played a pivotal role in restricting Australia to under 270 when at one stage, 300 looked imminent. After two missed opportunities against Carey, Kuldeep finally got the Australia wicketkeeper out with a rip-roaring turner.
Kuldeep's perfect leg-break was a dream delivery for any spinner squaring up Carey and knocking back his off-stump. Kuldeep grabbed 3/56, and with support from Hardik's 3/44 had Australia stranded for a lot less than they would have hoped for given the blistering start Mitchell Marsh provided them.
