The Indian pace duo of Rudra Pratap Singh and S Sreesanth were on Saturday ruled out of the second cricket Test against Pakistan due to injuries.

The two fast bowlers are not playing in the first Test at Ferozeshah Kotla in New Delhi.

While RP Singh is nursing a thigh strain, Sreesanth has an injured shoulder.

"RP and Sreesanth have been ruled out for the second Test," BCCI Secretary Niranjan Shah told PTI over the phone.

Sreesanth cracked a bone in his left shoulder when he was fielding during the fifth and final one-day international against Pakistan last Sunday.

Pakistani bowling attack has also been weakened after pacer Umar Gul was ruled out of the second Test due to a back sprain.

The second Test will be played at Eden Gardens, Kolkata, from November 30.
