Virat Kohli's photo-story on Rahul Dravid's 50th birthday wins hearts
Rahul Dravid was appointed as head coach of the Indian men's cricket team on November 03, 2021 and during his tenure, Kohli came out of his wretched form and 1019-day century drought as he slammed his 71st ton in the Asia Cup 2022
India cricketer Virat Kohli wished head coach Rahul Dravid on his 50th birthday on Wednesday. Dravid, a former India captain is currently coaching the Men in Blue in the three-match ODI series against Sri Lanka. Also known as 'The Wall' for his tremendous ability of protecting his wicket and bailing the team out of tough situations during his playing career, Dravid was wished upon by other cricketers and thousands of fans as well.

"Happy Birthday Rahul bhai, best wishes," posted Kohli on Instagram.
India women cricketer Smriti Mandhana also wished the former India cricketer on Twitter.
"Warmest wishes for a very happy birthday, Rahul Dravid Sir," she tweeted.

Fast bowler Umesh Yadav took to Twitter and posted “Happy birthday Rahul Dravid. Wishing you the best”.
Dravid was also wished upon by his former team- Royal Challengers Bangalore(RCB) of the Indian Premiere League(IPL).

There was a flurry of wishes from the former India captain's fans as well.

Dravid was one of the big four- others being Sachin Tendulkar, Sourav Ganguly and VVS Laxman, in the Indian cricket team of the 2000-2010. Renowned as a world-class batter, he played 164 Test matches and scored 13288 runs at an average of 52.31 including 36 centuries. In ODIs, the right-handed batter played 344 matches and slammed 10889 runs, averaging 39.17 and 12 hundreds to his name.
In the IPL, Dravid starred in 89 matches and amassed 2174 runs with 11 half-centuries at an average of 28.23.
