The World Cup is barely two days old and the count of the players replaced due to injury has already reached ten. The latest to be replaced are West Indies' Carlton Baugh and Devon Thomas.
On Sunday, the ICC's confirmed Kirk Edwards as replacement for Carlton Baugh and Devon Thomas for Adrian Barath.
“It is a setback to lose two players who have been doing well. Adrian Barath had been batting well, it's unfortunate. But there are two new guys and we are trying to put them in the comfort zone as soon as possible,” said Windies opener Chris Gayle.
