Yuvraj Singh is doing fine, the cricketer's mother Shabnam Singh told HT after the World Cup hero was diagnosed with cancer and is undergoing treatment in the US.
When Hindustan Times contacted Yuvraj's mother, who is with him in Boston, she said, "He is fine and will be back soon on the field. Don't worry."
The 30-year-old left-hander has been in US since January and is undergoing chemotherapy at the Cancer Research Institute in Boston.
Last November, Yuvraj was diagnosed with a non-malignant tumour of the lungs but further tests showed he has cancer.
