The party will also highlight the issue of ‘right to recall’--- a major electoral reform the AAP has been a votary of.
T he decision to launch the campaign was taken in a meeting chaired by Delhi Congress president Ajay Maken. Presidents of the party’s block and district units participated in the meeting.
“The door-to-door campaign by the Congress workers will expose the Kejriwal government. Kejriwal made tall promises to the people and vowed to practice clean politics. Nowhere in the country one-third of the total strength of a legislative body have been appointed as parliamentary secretaries to ministers with facilities like government vehicles and office space in the secretariat,” said Maken.
The Congress leader, who has also held the post of parliamentary secretary to chief minister Shiela Dikshit in 1999, also said that the AAP was running away from elections in the 21 assembly constituencies because of the fear of defeat.
