13 new projects planned for West, North Delhi

To ensure infrastructure projects get timely clearance from the Unified Traffic and Transportation Infrastructure (planning and engineering) (UTTIPEC), Delhi public works department minister Rajkumar Chauhan on Wednesday discussed many such proposals with the technical committee.

To ensure infrastructure projects get timely clearance from the Unified Traffic and Transportation Infrastructure (planning and engineering) (UTTIPEC), Delhi public works department minister Rajkumar Chauhan on Wednesday discussed many such proposals with the technical committee.

Chauhan said he did not want to start working on projects only to be met by objections by the technical committee.

With eyes set on next year’s assembly elections, the PWD has planned 13 new infrastructure projects, mostly in west and north Delhi. The projects include an elevated road between Jakhira and Anand Parbat, corridor improvement of the Najafgarh Road between Najafgarh and Raja Garden, etc.
