24 bhagat singh kranti sena activists held

Twenty-four activists of the Bhagat Singh Kranti Sena (BSKS) were arrested for allegedly causing disturbance in a seminar being organised by Popular Front of India (PFI) at Ramlila Maidan on Friday.

Twenty-four activists of the Bhagat Singh Kranti Sena (BSKS) were arrested for allegedly causing disturbance in a seminar being organised by Popular Front of India (PFI) at Ramlila Maidan on Friday.

The Sena had been protesting against the arrest of Harvinder Singh for slapping Union minister Sharad Pawar.

The activists were arrested under IPC sections 107 (abetment of a thing) and 151 (knowingly joining or continuing in assembly of five or more persons after it has been commanded to disperse). They were later sent to judicial custody.

Vivek Kishor, DCP (central) said, "We were informed about the nuisance they were causing. Police teams reached there and arrested the activists."
