The CBI on Thursday chargesheeted businessman Moninder Singh Pandher, his servant Surender Koli and a dismissed Uttar Pradesh police woman in connection with the serial killings in Nithari.

The chargesheet filed at the designated court in UP's Ghaziabad accused Pandher and Koli of allegedly entering into criminal conspiracy to kill one Payal, who is said to have an illicit relationship with Pandher.

Dismissed UP police officer Simranjit Kaur, who was arrested Wednesday evening, was also named as co-accused in the chargesheet for having allegedly helped in covering up the case.

CBI had registered 19 cases in connection with the serial killings.

While Pandher and Koli have been booked under various sections of Indian Penal Code which include criminal conspiracy, Kaur has been slapped with various sections of Prevention of Corruption Act for having allegedly abused her official position.

Kaur has been arrested in connection with the rape and murder of Payal, as she was the first investigation officer of the case, CBI officials said.

Investigations conducted by the CBI disclosed that she allegedly took gifts and gratifications for herself and other persons from accused Moninder Singh and framed "incorrect records" to save him and his servant Surinder Koli from legal proceedings, they added.

The police had on December 29 recovered skulls and human remains from a drain behind Pandher's D-5, Sector 31 residence in Noida unearthing the serial killings of children and women allegedly by him and Koli.
