3 dead and 4 injured in two separate accidents

“They were going to their Jyoti Nagar home from Anand Vihar when the bike was hit by a speeding vehicle,” a senior police officer said. “As it was late in the night, the vehicle which crushed them couldn’t be identified. There were no eyewitnesses either,” the officer added.

The three were rushed to Guru Tegh Bahadur Hospital. Nazreen and her mother

were declared brought dead by the doctors. Sikander, who got severe head injuries, died on Monday afternoon.

Khan, a resident of Jyoti Nagar, used to work with a cable operator and had recently got engaged to Nazreen.

In another accident, four people were injured in Vasant Vihar when their Santro car was hit by another vehicle. “Naveen (35), along with his family, was going home when his car was hit by a call centre cab,” said a senior police officer. The cab driver managed to flee after the accident. htc
