35 properties face MCD’s ire

The MCD on Wednesday took demolition action against five properties in Sainik Farms. In all, 35 properties were targeted in South Delhi, Rohini, Civil Lines, Shahdara (south) and Sadar Paharganj zones.

The MCD on Wednesday took demolition action against five properties in Sainik Farms. In all, 35 properties were targeted in South Delhi, Rohini, Civil Lines, Shahdara (south) and Sadar Paharganj zones.

Fourteen properties in Sainik Farms, Mohammadpur, Paryavaran Complex and Freedom Fighters Colony in South zone faced the action, while portions of six properties were demolished in Rohini zone. In Civil Lines zone seven properties were razed, while another seven faced action in Shahdara (south) zone. In Sadar Paharganj zone, illegal portions were of a property on BG Road were demolished.

The action was carried out with the help of Delhi police.
