Leader of Opposition L K Advani today held a meeting with senior BJP leaders here today to chalk out the party's plans and strategy ahead of the Budget session of Parliament beginning on Thursday.

Besides Advani, other senior party leaders present at the meeting included Arun Jaitley, Sushma Swaraj, S S Ahluwalia, Ramesh Bais and Maya Singh.

"The leaders discussed the party's strategy for the Budget session," party sources said.

The BJP has already given its consent for not sending the Budget to a Standing Committee to save time. The Budget has to be passed by July 31 when the Vote on Account expires. The Budget session will begin on July two and is scheduled to end on August seven.
