Airport Metro to restart this week

After remaining suspended for six months, the high-speed Metro service on the showcase airport metro express is likely to be reopened by the weekend or early next week. HT reports.

After remaining suspended for six months, the high-speed Metro service on the showcase airport metro express is likely to be reopened by the weekend or early next week.

But the swanky service is likely to miss two major USPs — high-speed and check-in facilities — to start with.

The Commissioner of Metro Rail Safety (CMRS), RK Kardam, started inspecting the line on Tuesday and would complete the process on Wednesday.
