Annual day at Bal Bharati, GRH Marg

Bal Bharati Public School, GRH Marg celebrated its annual day and prize distribution function recently. Narendra Kumar, member administration, National Highways Authority of India graced the occasion as the chief guest.

Bal Bharati Public School, GRH Marg celebrated its annual day and prize distribution function recently. Narendra Kumar, member administration, National Highways Authority of India graced the occasion as the chief guest. Odissi exponent, Padam Shri Madhavi Mudgal was the guest of honour. Through an impressive audio- visual presentation, the entire gamut of school activities and achievements during the academic session 2012-13 was also highlighted. Students were awarded prizes in various categories in both scholastic and co-scholastic areas.

The cultural fiesta for the day was a vibrant amalgamation of music and dance items. Principal LV Sehgal was felicitated by the school's managing committee for his unparalleled achievements in the field of education. The vote of thanks was delivered by JC Ajmani, school manager.

Ahlcon International School, Mayur Vihar has been identified as one of the nodal schools to monitor and conserve sparrows by the department of environment and forests. To celebrate World Sparrow Day, students were invited to Delhi chief minister Sheila Dikshit's residence. The chief minister released a book on sparrows and urged for immediate attention to save them. Around 27 schools participated in the function and exhibited posters, nests, poems and slogans. Students interacted with the chief minister and updated her about our school's initiative to protect sparrows. The journey was an eye opener for all to protect house sparrows.

Saai Memorial Girls School, Sai Bhawan Geeta Colony, celebrated the annual function at Talkatora Stadium. Arvinder Singh Lovely, minister of urban development and revenue presided over the function. Students performance on various dance performances followed by aerobics.

The school orchestra mesmerised all those who were present.The programme was a huge success.

The junior wing of Gyan Bharati School, Saket, celebrated its annual day recently. Dr. Kamala Menon, an educationist and founder member of the Mirambika School graced the occasion as the chief guest. The programme commenced with Ganesh Vandana followed by dance drama 'In Rhythm with Festivities', group song 'Milkar Raho', and Hindi play 'Paed Hamare Saathi Hai'. School Principal Neelam Sharma and RC Shekhar, school director congratulated the students on their remarkable performance. The vote of thanks was proposed by the incharge, Sarita Sharma.
