The Karnataka Janata Paksha (KJP), the party formed by Yeddyurappa after his exit from the BJP, has written an open letter to Modi and congratulated him.

The letter signed by KJP senior leader V Dhananjay Kumar, said Modi would set things right for the BJP, which is in disarray in Karnataka.

“You are aware that on account of adverse political developments in Karnataka, KJP leaders and former CM Yeddyurappa had to part with the BJP,” Kumar wrote.

He also hoped Modi would initiate changes in the BJP in the process of nation building.

BSY, after Modi’s appointment, said his party would meet and discuss the issue of returning to the BJP or join the NDA before the 2014 polls.
