The West Delhi Police have arrested two robbers who allegedly shot at a doctor and seriously injured him during a carjacking bid in Nangloi on November 14.

According to the police, the accused — Jaswinder Singh and Shiv Dabas (both 22 years old) — were involved in a similar case where they shot at another person in the same area.

They added that Dabas was previously involved in the two robbery cases, one Arms Act and one hurt case.

“The victim was going to Rohtak from Delhi. When he reached Hiren Kudna More, he stopped to relieve himself. The accused attacked him and fired on him. He was hit by a bullet. They took away his Lancer car along with other items like laptop and purse,” said Deputy Commissioner of Police (West) Sharad Aggarwal.
