All this has reportedly been captured in the Close Circuit Television Camera (CCTV) footage of Satyam multiplex, where the bar is located.

The police have seized the footage and the gun, a Smith and Wason licensed pistol. Singh was arrested on Wednesday evening from Lajpat Nagar on charges of attempt to murder.

The police said the footage will be used as evidence against Singh. The police said an additional case of Arms Act will also be registered.

Singh had allegedly come to the multiplex with his sister in a Toyota Innova car with a beacon on it.

Before entering the bar, where he allegedly entered into a scuffle with the staff and opened fire, the politician’s son had allegedly also beaten up the guard while entering the complex. The bar’s manager, who found himself at the receiving end of Singh’s violent temper, suffered bruises.

The staff at the Mocha Bar said they feared for their lives since high profile people were involved.

“We were cooperating with the woman, Manisha Singh, who claimed she had left her wallet at our bar on Tuesday night. We showed them the roster chart of all our employees and asked for some time to ask the remaining staff, as many had not reported for work in the morning,” said an employee at Mocha Bar, who did not want his name to come out in the newspapers.

“They refused to listen to us and were abusing our staff." He added it was the first time Manisha had come to the bar. “She had come on Tuesday night with two friends. We don't know where she lost her bag after getting drunk,” he said.

“If they had been patient, we would have gone out of our way to help them.”

After Singh opened fire that hit a wooden board, both Singh and Manisha allegedly tried to run away from the scene. While Singh managed to escape, Manisha was caught by a security guard and handed over to the police.
