On Friday, around 30 supporters were still camping inside the stadium. “Our people have gone to join Anna’s fast at Ramlila Maidan. We’ll go there in the evening once they come back. We can’t vacate this place as we have nowhere else to go,” said Naresh Kumar, from Vidisha, Madhya Pradesh (MP).
Anna supporters have spent three nights at the stadium and intend to be at the sports venue till his fast continues.
Protesters, who have come from Maharashtra, MP, Haryana, Orissa, Uttar Pradesh and other states to join Hazare’s crusade against corruption, are getting free food and shelter at the Chhatrasal stadium.
