Chilly winds continue to sweep Delhi

Cold winds added to the chill in the air even as the minimum temperature climbed up in the national capital today.

Cold winds added to the chill in the air even as the minimum temperature climbed up in the national capital on Thursday.

The low was recorded at 6.5 degree Celsius, as compared to 5.8 degree Celsius on Wednesday. The maximum temperature was recorded at 20.4 degree Celsius on Wednesday.

There was a shallow fog cover for sometime early in the morning.

Delhi has experienced pleasant weather in the past few days despite icy winds blowing across the city.

The mercury had risen to 24.3 degrees Celsius last week.

The capital has recorded at least five cold-related deaths since December 26.
