Dikshit took the decision after meeting a delegation of Hotel Association of Karol Bagh and Federation of Hotel Associations today who demanded better civic amenities in Karol Bagh and other areas where hotels, lodges and guest houses are situated.

In the meeting, also attended by DJB Vice-Chairperson Ramakant Goswami, MCD Engineer-in-Chief Ravi Das, Delhi Chief Secretary Rakesh Mehta and other senior officers, the chief minister asked MCD and PWD to install proper and uniform signages with informative substance.

The Associations were also directed to have their design of hotels' sign boards approved from the MCD so that uniform sign boards could be used in entire locality.
