"CBI is seized of the matter. Law will take its own course and we have nothing to say," Congress spokesperson Abhisek Singhvi told reporters in New Delhi.

CBI arrested Sarobjit on Friday for allegedly demanding bribe of Rs one crore from a Nasik-based contractor for closing a case against him. A case against the businessman is pending before National Commission for SC and ST.

According to the complainant, Sarobjit had demanded a sum of Rs one crore from him to close the case registered against under the SC/ST Act.

Sarobjit alias Sweety was detained in Delhi on Thursday night and taken to Mumbai for questioning by the Anti Corruption Cell.
