Customers want to know whether their money safe

The local branch of Citbank has been receiving frantic queries from account holders. Bank officials are having a tough time explaining the worried customers that the fraud had affected a few high networth individuals (HNIs) only and not all.

However, the officials have not issued any advisory or message with regard to the scam to account holders. Meanwhile, the bank has surveyed customer dealings of all its relationship managers at Gurgaon branch as well as others in the northern region. Bank sources claimed that none of the relationship managers were found to be involved in illegal dealings.

The bank officials said most of the customers wanted to know whether their money was safe. However, very few have been visiting the branch.
