On Tuesday, around 10 applicants gathered outside the college for the 12th consecutive day for admission to the English course.
These applicants had met the first cut-off list but were denied admission as the college had already admitted more students than the sanctioned strength. Refusal of admission on these grounds is against university rules.
Principal Inderjeet Dagar had promised the applicants that the college would come out with a list of applicants who would get admission on Tuesday but nothing has happened.
“The principal has been misleading us and has not even put up the list. We have tried to meet the vice-chancellor but he doesn’t have time for us.
The committee set up by the university will take time to come out with a report. What if the committee decides to support the college? ” said an angry applicant.
