"I cannot answer for all state governments. But we did our best. Advertised, alerted and ensured carefulness, so Delhi has not suffered," she told reporters on the sidelines of a meeting.

Regarding the two deaths due to swine flu that were reported yesterday, Dikshit said they did not belong to Delhi and had come from outside.

She maintained that Delhi had done pretty well on the issue as "hospitals are doing extremely well and doctors have been working hard. So Delhi has not suffered."

Earlier in the day, Azad had lashed out at state governments for "forgetting their duty" and not doing enough to combat swine flu saying that the Centre has been stretching itself to the maximum limit to contain the disease.
