A 47-year-old property dealer, allegedly depressed due to financial loss, shot himself dead at his house here Thursday morning, police said. No suicide note has been found.

A 47-year-old property dealer, allegedly depressed due to financial loss, shot himself dead at his house here Thursday morning, police said. No suicide note has been found.

"Shayam Sundar was spotted lying in a pool of blood by his wife at their house in west Delhi's Hari Nagar," said a police officer. According to Additional Commissioner of police V. Renganathan, the property dealer had a gun shot injury on the side of his head.

He was taken to Mata Chanan Devi hospital, where doctors declared him dead. Police said Shyam Sundar was depressed due to financial losses suffered in his property business for the last few months.
