DJB’s production from all available sources is about 835 million gallons per day (MGD) and the demand, which shoots up exponentially in summer, is on an average for 1080 MGD.
“Water deficient areas have been identified by the respective divisions. Water demand in such areas will be met through water tankers at pre-designated delivery points,” said Sanjam Chima, DJB’s consultant (Public Relation).
