"The addition to the baboon family - it was born on Sunday - is still with its mother. So we have not yet been able to determine its sex," zoo sources said.

In another development, authorities have brought in medical veterinarian help for an almost one-year-old zebra at the zoological park.

"Although the stripped animal is eating properly and we have been giving it injections for strength too, it has been continuously showing signs of illness. We have not been able to diagnose it properly hence outside help has been sought," sources added.
