Delhi Government sources said preparations relating to the prestigious event mainly figured during the meeting.

The Chief Minister is also understood to have explained to the Prime Minister about the efforts being undertaken by her government to make the sporting extravaganza a great success.

The meeting comes just a week after the Commonwealth Games Federation Coordination Commission, evaluating preparations for the event, expressed concern over status of projects relating to the event.

Last week, Dikshit had also said that construction of the stadia remains a major area of concern.

"I only keep praying that we won't let the country down," Dikshit had told PTI in an interview. However, she said "we will do everything possible to see that the country was not let down."
