The basic idea of this course is to equip students with sound economic theory along with professional tools and management principles at the undergraduate level.
Papers in Industrial Economics and Environmental Economics are unique to this programme. The syllabus includes seven multi disciplinary optional groups in the third year as specializations, which are designed in conformity with the requirements of the industry.
Who can make it
The course require a minimum of 55 percent marks with English and Mathematics. It is open to students from all three streams. The combined merit list is prepared by giving equal weight to marks obtained in class XII and the entrance test.
Due to this , candidates scoring low marks in school need to perform exceptionally well in the test to gain admission.
