The Delhi High Court on Monday directed its Registrar General to file a complaint under section 195 of the Criminal Procedure Code (CPC) before a Magistrate's court “for initiating criminal proceedings” against the three, for “falsely implicating” the duo.

Justice S N Dhingra, who issued the direction, had on June 18 sought an explanation from the Commissioner of Police for not taking steps to prosecute SHO Ashok Kumar and SIs Sandeep Sharma and Sunil Jain, despite Delhi Lt. Governor Tejendra Khanna sanctioning it in January.
