The temperature is expected to be similar on Friday as well with the Met Department predicting a maximum temperature of 22 degrees and a minimum of 6 degrees. Shallow fog is also expected in the morning.
"The temperature will drop consistently till mid January and fog will be seen after the 20th of this month," said a Met official.
"Now that it has snowed in Himachal Pradesh, the temperatures here have automatically dropped," the official added.
Delhiites, meanwhile, are enjoying the winter chill. "This is the perfect weather to be outside. The absence of fog is also a boon," said Neena Menon, a resident of Vasant Kunj.
