First list of LJP candidates out
The Lok Janshakti Party (LJP) on Saturday announced its first list of candidates for the upcoming municipal polls, becoming the first party to do so.

The Lok Janshakti Party (LJP) on Saturday announced its first list of candidates for the upcoming municipal polls, becoming the first party to do so.
While stating that it would field candidates for all 272 wards, the list contains names of two of the three sitting LJP councillors. The first list has 18 women candidates, of which two have been fielded from general seats. Of the 43 candidates, 16 are Muslims, including seven women.
